If the help files are written by the same people, that's ok, because you're only accessing the information when you need to know it. If I had read about Anchored Objects a few months ago, I would've said "that's cool," moved on and completely forgotten about it because it wasn't relevant to me at the time. I actually rely quite heavily on the help files for many programs. I use the third party stuff (like Real World Photoshop) to learn the techniques, not the specific steps of how to create an inline graphic. But that's me, I like the help files. Or do you rely on third-party books instead? Personally, I've thrown out my User Guides. And I assume the help files are written by the same people...

Well, think of it this way: Do you ever use the User’s Guides that came with any of your Adobe products? They can be very helpful! Do you generally receive the help you're looking for on forums?Esben, I actually use the help files for a lot of things, including Microsoft Office (yes, it's a plague we all must deal with...). I often find what I am looking for, though sometimes it's named something I never would've thought to search for, which can be annoying.Alec, You usually don't find Help very helpful either?

David,
I have a few Visual Quickstart books, too.
