The ALA site does work very well and I like how they use up multiple columns for the articles, too. I also like how they leave almost the whole left-most column empty; it makes the layout clean and it draws attention to the logo. I think it&#039;s great that they use the same grid structure throughout the site, which contributes to the uniformity, yet the section pages are different enough that you can tell you&#039;re somewhere else but still with the same organization. They did a great job and it&#039;s a &lt;em&gt;perfect&lt;/em&gt; example of an effective and strategic use of the grid.</description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thanks David!
